2025 Housing Day at the Iowa Capitol 

PRESENTED BY THE IOWA HOUSING PARTNERSHIP 

February 4, 2025 • 10 am – noon • Iowa State Capitol Rotunda 

Join advocates from across Iowa for Housing Day at the Iowa Capitol—a day dedicated to highlighting how housing is key to Iowa’s future! Together, we’ll share stories about the impact of housing programs and investments, discuss the Iowa Housing Partnership’s 2025 legislative priorities, and advocate for better housing options for all Iowans. 

Whether you’re a housing developer, nonprofit service provider, community advocate, or a passionate resident, this event is your chance to engage in outreach, education, and advocacy to make quality housing accessible to everyone in Iowa.

Where: First floor rotunda, west and south, Iowa State Capitol, Des Moines 

When: 10 am to noon February 4, 2025

WHAT TO EXPECT:  

During Housing Day at the Hill, check in at our display in the rotunda to pick up a participant packet, meet other advocates, and learn about the day’s priorities. You are encouraged to bring your own stories to share and priorities for housing in your part of the state. 

PREPARE WITH A FREE TRAINING WEBINAR: 

The Iowa Housing Partnership will host a free pre-event Housing Advocacy 101 Webinar January 30 at 10 am. Learning about the issues and planning in advance can help your day at the statehouse feel more successful. This 1-hour session will leave you feeling informed and prepared for a successful 2025 Housing Day at the Iowa Capitol experience.
